Apollo 11 - LIFE & LOOK from 1969 2 books Man on the Moon & First Man

To remember the 50th anniversary of the first moon landing (July 2019), here is a collection of items centered on Apollo 11, the first manned mission to land on the moon in 1969.

1) LIFE Magazine, August 8, 1969 - This is NOT the entire issue, only the sections (16 pages including the front cover) that related to Apollo 11. LIFE had early rights to all materials from NASA, so it was the first magazine to publish these images. I removed the specific sections to use for an 8th-grade science class presentation. I wrote my name on the cover title (photo 2).
2) LOOK Magazine, "Special Edition" - This is the full magazine with text by the New York Times and photos from the astronauts. The cover is in 2 pieces (front/back - photos 5/9), but the interior is in excellent condition for a magazine nearing 50 years old.
3) First Man: The Life of Neil A. Armstrong, the authorized biography by James R. Hansen. This copy is a FIRST EDITION from 2005 and signed by the author (inscribed "To Pam"). It is incredibly detailed with information from all eras in his life with 24 pages of photographs. The hardcover edition is in "Like-New" condition and includes the dust jacket.
4) A Man on the Moon: The Triumphant Story of the Apollo Space Program, by Andrew Chaikin, the basis for the HBO miniseries. This is a NEW (never read) softbound copy with 16 pages of pictures.
