Detailed Condtion : No chips or cracks, does have fine crazing throughout top and bottom. Overall, good condition for age.
- Antique Salem China serving platter
- Off white with pink, green and blue floral motif on each side
- Cameo with a "C" monogram in the center of each floral motif
- Gold trim around rim, blue line trim defines inner rim
- Measures about 13-1/2" x 11"; deeper than most platters...about 1-1/4"
- Salem China mark on back (I do not know the age but the style of the pattern and mark indicate early 20th century)
- No chips or cracks. Gold trim is mostly intact, shows just a little rub wear in a couple of places. As is typical of this pattern and old china in general, there is fine crazing on both front and back. There are a few stray marks and under-the-glaze pinpricks but overall, this platter is in great condition for its age!
