Edwardian Hallmarked 9ct 375 Gold Open Locket Watch Fob
Hand-painted flower watercolours to both sides under beveled glass cover
Hallmark Assay Office stamp not clear, but cartouche shape and outline of centre suggest a Tree which is the Glasgow Assay Office stamp, with a curled and scrolled capital letter R is 1914 date letter
Marker's mark worn and difficult to see
Perhaps given as a keepsake at the start of WW1 - Violet flower painting is signed RT
Total height, including bail is just over 1 1/2" (4 cms), width is 1 1/4" (3 cms)
