Original Polish 23 inch x 33 inch Poster for the 1961 Mario Camerini Comedy AND SUDDENLY IT’S MURDER (CRIMEN) starring Alberto Sordi, Vittorio Gassman, Nino Manfredi, Dorian Gray, Bernard Blier, Silvana Mangano and Sylva Koscina.
A randomly formed group of Italians gets deeply involved in a crime in Montacarlo.
Poster art by Julian Palka (1923 - 2002). he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw at the Graphic Design Faculty (under Józef Mroszczak) and Painting Faculty (under Jan Cybis) from 1945 to 1951. Beginning in 1993 and up to his death, he was the head of the Graphic Design Department of the European Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. He created around 100 posters for films, exhibitions and events. Palka’s posters were more symbolic than ornamental or amusing.
The poster is in very good folded condition with a small piece out of the bottom right corner, 2 small cross fold tears and other minor faults.
