Sebastian Miniature #70 - Amish Man
In 1947, Baston had just begun work with Schmid Bros. and the first appearance of the line was scheduled for a department store in York, Pennsylvania, center of the Pennsylvania Dutch country. He designed this piece specifically for that appearance and it has remained in the line since.
This particular piece does not have a label, so I am pricing it as though it was produced in 1981 rather than 1947. Measures 3 1/4" tall with a base measuring 1 1/4". Each piece is hand painted so variances in color are expected.
This piece does not have the original box, but a nice gift box will be included.
