This one measures 12mm and weighs roughly 8 carats. In plain English, this is simply a very pretty stone, and it's well mounted in this 925 Sterling Silver Pendant. Gives me goosebumps just to look at it, but then, I like Amethyst. Fantastic color, incredible cut, perfect clarity -- all combining to create a totally awesome stone. Very pretty. This stone is set into a sturdy 4 prong basket. We cast our own mountings and will never use flimsy "snap tight" stuff... It allows the most show of stone for the least expense in silver.
