Original technical vintage catalog for AMERICAN DESK MANUFACTURING COMPANY. Classroom chalkboards, Best-Rite long fiber asbestos board, Best-Steel porcelain enamel, Twin-Plate double-ply tempered hardboard, and Ever-Rite single-ply tempered hardboard. Specifications given.
Best-Rite has slating applied to finest grade long fibererd asbestos Micro-Flexboard. This inert material and special ingredients in the slating material allows this chalkboard to be washed with normal household or custodial type detergents as often as necessary without causing warping, loss of color or writing qualities. Full color chart is shown. Detailed illustrations for Deluxe series 31m regular 31, series 32, economy series 33 factory built units, preframed chanlkboard and tackboards. Full color charts for Cork-Plate, Ad-Cork, Unmounted Cork, Vin-Tak, Ad-Tak. Mathematics chalkboard, horizontal sliding chalkboards are also discussed. Detailed illustrations for Anodized Aluminum Clip-On Trim,, Slip-On Trim, Screw-On Trims.
