Seller's Description
A pre-owned Altenkunstadt Alte Stadtebilder plate for the German city of Boblingen in excellent condition. One in a series of old cityscapes of German cities. This plate depicts the historic city of Boblingen in earlier times. During World War II 70% of the original old city was destroyed.
The plate has a black outline of the city on a low gloss white background glaze. It features the city of Boblingen enclosed by the old city walls with farmers fields in front of the city. At the top of the collector's plate is painted 'Boblingen' with the city coat of arms painted below it.
It measures approximately 7.5 inches in diameter at the rim. It weighs 9 ounces. The bottom of the plate reads 'Alte Stadtebilder, Altenkunstadt 18'. It has the Altenkunstadt hallmark - a sailing ship - printed on it. It has a wall hanging hook attached to it.
The piece is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, or repair.
It is being sold as used in "AS IS" condition. Please ask any questions before purchasing. I can provide more pictures upon request.
