Original 9 1/2 inch x 7 1/2 inch Still of director JACK LEE, lighting cameraman GEOFFREY UNSWORTH, Camera operator JACK ATCHELOR and continuity girl JOAN DAVIS setting up a shot on location in Penang for their 1956 Wartime Drama A TOWN LIKE ALICE, based on the novel by Nevil Shute.

Still by Harry Gillard. Gillard entered the film industry in July 1946 as a still-cameraman’s assistant to Wilfrid Newton at Denham Studios and Arthur Evans at Pinewood Studios and was stand-by still cameraman at both studios.

The still is in very good condition with caption tacked to the reverse.
