STORY LINE : Country Western singer , Hank Williams Jr. ,Hank Williams son,  was 19 years old when he starred in this film. He protrays Graddy Doddy, a farm boy with musical talent, who dreams of being a Country Singing star. His dreams are dashed by his Uncle Kermit ( played by Ed Begley ), who wants Graddy to remain working on his farm. Finally, Graddy appears on a local TV show and becomes and instant hit. His rise to fame has drawbacks as the Country Show business is crazy and unside down and almost ruin him. Lots of song are performed, including : " A Time To Sing " , " The Humming Bird " , " It's All Over But The Crying " , " Rock In My Shoe " , " A Man Is On His Own " , " Money Can't Buy Happiness " , " Old Before My Time " , " Next Time I Say Good Bye " , and " I'm Leaving ".
