Offered is the Tempo Books edition of Kenneth Grahame's classic "The Wind in the Willows". Although not seemingly a tie-in book, the cover is a cel from the 1946 Disney animated movie "The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad" in which the second part of the movie is derived from Grahame's chapters regarding Mr. Toad within his "Wind in the Willows" book. Interestingly, Tempo Books would later release the book with the same cover but added "A Walt Disney Cartoon Feature Movie" underneath the author's name. Interior illustrations in the book are by Roberta Carter Clark. Overall condition is acceptable. The front cover has numerous creases in addition to being partially detached near the bottom of the spine. The back cover also has numerous creases including a small tape repair (on the inside, back cover). The spine has a single vertical crease as caused by reading. Interior pages have discolored from age.
