Offered is a tie-in book to the 1979 film "The Jerk" starring Steve Martin. This isn't the usual novel adaptation but instead, features scenes from the movie to which Gottlieb added in text (more like captions) to the scenes to explain them in the context of the film. The film screenplay was written by Steve Martin, Gottlieb, and Michael Elias. Overall condition is acceptable with minor wear on the front and back covers (mainly some scuffing and some indents). The spine shows no vertical creasing as caused by reading. Interior pages remain pretty white, suggesting a superior paper able to resist discoloration.
