Overall condition is acceptable. This is the first printing of the Berkley Books edition which followed the Berkley Highland Edition. The front cover has minor to moderate edge wear, a crease running parallel to the spine, a tiny dog ear crease in the upper right corner, some tiny chipping, and average shelf wear. The back cover has minor to moderate edge wear, some discoloration, some indents and scratches, tiny creasing in the upper and lower left corners, and average shelf wear. The spine has no vertical creasing with moderate edge wear on the top and bottom. Interior pages and the insides of the covers have discolored with age. There is a "SEP 79" ink stamp on the first page.
