Overall condition is acceptable. This is the tie-in printing of the novel for the TV series that ran from March 27 to 30, 1983 on ABC. It is the second highest-rated television mini-series ever, only beaten by Roots that aired on ABC from January 23 to 30, 1977. The front cover has moderate to heavy edge wear, dog ear creasing in the upper and lower right corners (to include chipping in the upper corner), creasing running parallel to the spine as caused by reading, some tiny chips, and average shelf wear. The back cover has several scruff marks and handling soiling, some discoloration, moderate to heavy edge wear, creasing along the spine, and average shelf wear. The spine has two main vertical creases and some wrinkling along a small curve as caused by reading along with moderate to heavy edge wear with some chipping. Interior pages have some discoloration and the former owner's name is written in pen on the first page.
