Synthetic Men of Mars by Edgar Rice Burroughs ( Del Rey | 12th. Print | 1980 )

Offered is the relatively more recent printing of Burroughs' ninth book in his classic Martian Tales ( aka Barsoom series; John Carter of Mars series). This is a twelfth printing by Del Rey. Overall condition is acceptable. The front cover has a crease running parallel to the spine which is usually caused by reading. There is moderate edge wear, notably in the upper, right corner. There is some scuffing, an indent on the outer edge, and some minor and small creases. The back cover is in a bit better shape in terms of edge wear but still has the same type of crease and a grouping of tiny indents in the lower, right corner. The spine shows some minor cracking but no vertical crease as often caused by reading. The interior has browned with age but not to any distracting degree. The spine wording is offset as a result of printer error when combining the book contents with the cover.
