Nonivamide is synthetic analogue of capsaicin that possesses analgesic properties. Analgesic effect is associated with affection of nociceptor C-fibers and A-delta-nervous fibers. Finalgon must not be applied on open wounds and burns, skin area with decreased permeability, neck, stomach, interior surface of thigh bone. Avoid contact of Finalgon with eyes and mucous lining of the nasal and oral cavity. Do not take heat bath after application of Finalgon gel.
