Exoderil Maxi Lac is used to treat fungal infections of the nails in adults.

It should only be used if the upper half or sides of the nail are affected.

The active substance amorolfine prevents the growth of fungi and kills them.

It is used to treat onychomycosis caused by dermatophytes, yeasts or molds, in which the nail bed is not affected.

Fungal infections are often very persistent.

Therefore, use Exoderil Maxi Lac without interruption until the affected nails grow back completely healthy.
This usually requires a period of 6 months for fingernails and 9 to 12 months for toenails.

Active substance:

Amorolfine hydrochloride (amorolfine) 125 mg

How to use:

The nail polish should be applied to the affected nail once a week. 10 minutes after application, decorative nail polish can be used.

Follow these instructions for use:

Each time before applying nail polish, file the affected parts of the nail (especially the nail surface) as much as possible with one of the provided files.

Do not use a file that has been used to treat affected nails on healthy nails.

Then remove a swab soaked in liquid from the packaging.
Use it to clean the surface of the affected nails and remove any polish residue.
One swab is sufficient to clean all affected nails.
You can also use regular nail polish remover.

Dip the spatula provided with the nail polish in the nail polish. Do not wipe it on the neck of the bottle. Re-dip the spatula for each affected nail.

Apply nail polish to the entire surface of the nail.

Carefully close the bottle immediately and clean the spatula using the swab soaked in nail polish remover.

Allow the applied nail polish to dry for about 3-5 minutes.

Warnings:

Do not use Exoderil Maxi Lac if you are allergic to amorolfine.

Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before using Exoderil Maxi Lac if you have: diabetes, a weak immune system or are taking therapy to suppress the immune function; impaired blood circulation in the hands and feet; a severely damaged or infected nail; if you have had a nail injury in the past, a skin disease called psoriasis, other chronic skin diseases, swelling, yellowing of the nails, combined with breathing disorders, painful nails, crooked / deformed nails or other disorders around the nail.

Avoid using artificial nails during treatment with Exoderil Maxi Lac.

Treatment of children and adolescents is not recommended.

It should not be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding unless your doctor has specifically prescribed it for you.

If after 3 months you do not feel better or your condition worsens, you should seek medical attention.
