Pit bull disc brake pad spreader. Compresses disc brake piston for new pad installation.

New in Package. Never opened.

Pit Bull Disc Brake Pad Spreader

Oversized, high·impact contoured handle for sure grip

Rugged black oxide finished spreader pad

Drop forged, heat treated steel screw and pivot foot

Compresses disc brake piston to make room for new pad installation

Use for disc brake jobs on most foreign and domestic cars, trucks, and S.U.Vs

Instructions:
1. Remove 2/3" of brake fluid from reservoir to prevent overflow.
2. Pivot caliper out of it’s bracket or remove caliper completely from rotor assembly. Support in position with wire – do not allow calliper to hang from brake line hose.
3. Turn handle counter-clockwise to adjust pad spreader so it will fit between piston and 0uter edge of caliper. Insert into caliper as shown.
4. Turn handle clockwise to depress piston into piston housing. Remove pad spreader.
5. Worn brake pads can now be removed and replaced with new pads.
