Seller's Description
78 RPM Record Brunswick 3697
Used 78 rpm record in Very Good Plus condition
Released in 1927 by Frank Black and His Orchestra
Brunswick 3697
"Baby Your Mother" and "Dawning"
"Baby Your Mother" was a popular song, recorded on many labels. This is described on one site as the definitive version.
There's a wrinkle in the label on one side (see picture)
The original sleeve is intact except for a triangular piece missing at the top, and there are small tears around the center and a bend mark in one corner
The original sleeve will be included, but the record is in a replacement sleeve for better protection
Genre: 1920s Jazz
78 RPM RECORD GRADING
This record was visually examined and played through with no skips or repeats. Any chips or other damage is noted in the description. I am not a expert on 78 RPM records and I tried to be conservative in grading.
N- (Nearly Mint Plus) Condition. Nearly Mint, but has been played. No visible signs of wear or damage.
E+ (Excellent Plus) Condition. Plays like new. Very few signs of handling, such as tiny scuffs from being slipped in and out of jackets.
E (Excellent) Condition. Still very shiny, near new looking, with no visible signs of wear, but a few inaudible scuffs and scratches.
E- (Excellent Minus) Condition. Still shiny but without the lustre of a new record, has a few light audible scratches.
V+ (Very Good Plus) Condition. Scuffs and use have dulled the finish somewhat. Wear is moderate but playing is free from distortion. Surface noise not overly pronounced.
V (Very Good) Condition. Moderate, even wear throughout. Surface noise and scratches audible but not intrusive.
V- (Very Good Minus) Condition. Music remains loud. Surface noise and scratches.
G+ (Good Plus) Condition. Surface noise throughout but music is audible. Heavy scratches.
G (Good) Condition. Quite seriously worn and scratched, but music level is higher than surface noise.
G- (Good Minus) Condition. Music still prominent, but wear and scratch damage extensive.
F (Fair) Condition. Most of the music remains audible over surface noise, but listening is uncomfortable.
