This magnifier has 6 super bright LED lights surrounding it's all glass lens that produce more than enough light to perform any type of inspection or viewing of items in any lighting situtaion. It has a convenient push button switch on the side of the handle so you can turn the lights on or off as you see fit.
This magnifier requires 2 "AA" size batteries to operate the lights. (Batteries not included) The LED lights are very economical, they consume minimal power, so the batteries will last for quite some time.
This magnifier is suitable for many different applications, but its especially useful in low light conditions.
Excellent for reading small print (in phone books, prescription bottles, newspapers, books etc...) and fine inspection of various materials, such as watch repair, craft-works, inspecting antique markings, viewing stones, gems, stamps, coins and more.
