She was a Robinson Great Central Railway Class 9K design seen here at Gorton
in 1955. Subsequently fitted with superheater. Fitted with push-pull control
apparatus one of 8. A total of 40 built. She was developed further by Robinson
from 1907 onwards with detail differences as Class C14.
