Contractubex gel is a medicinal product that is used to treat rough, overgrown, reddened, swollen, restrictive movement and cosmetic scars after surgeries, amputations, injuries and burns. Contractubex softens and smoothes hardened, overgrown, painful and cosmetically damaged skin tissue. Heparin facilitates the hydration (water-binding capacity) of hardened tissue, thereby causing scars to swell and sag. Extractum cepe and allantoin enhance this softening effect. The water-soluble gel base supports the deep penetration of the active ingredients into the skin and thus provides a local treatment. Available in a pack of 20 g.
