24% Lead Crystal Hand-Blown Glass Champagne Flutes - Pair - 6-Sided Cathederal Stem.   I believe these to be Mikasa, but I am not positive.   This pair of Fluted Champagne Glasses are stunningly simple and elegant.   The bowl is slightly larger at the bottom.  Drinking Champagne from a wider glass rather than a thin flute allows us to experience more of the aromatic spectrum.    The stem is 6 sided with cut embellishments just under the bowl, providing a sturdy feel to the glass in hand, while the top rim is simple, thin and elegant feeling.

Did you know that real crystal is known by the ring that emits when the glass is flicked with the finger nail?   These glass ring in deep tones that last at full 5 seconds.  Each glass has a diffent tone, attesting to the hand-blown creation.   Another feature of real crystal is that the more they are used and washed, the stronger the glass becomes.

Although crystal glasses are thinner than your average glass stemware, crystal is a stronger material, and it lasts longer.
