Seller's Description
Card #CT-2926 is an Italian printing and Ed Nelson photo. 4 x 5 7/8 inches in size, messaged and mailed, the reverse tells us:
"The memory of the tremendous volcanic devastation that occurred on May 18, 1980, can be seen in downed trees, scorched timber, and volcanic ash. Over 16,000 acres of trees were downed during the blast. Mt. St. Helens can be viewed daily as she labors through the dome-building process, and wildlife and vegetation make their way back to the area. It's a magnificent testimony to the 'cycle of life'."
