In mint condition, with photo by Frank L. Forward and Crocker Card image Vt-2. The back relates:
this monument.... "Commemorates the Battle of Bennington, fought on August 16, 1777, which historians consider to be the turning point of the Revolutionary War. Built of gray-blue dolomite, it stands 306 feet high, with 412 steps or elevator service to the look-out floor. Town of Bennington can be seen in the background."
