1977 President & Mrs. Jimmy Carter

Postcard #C31364. Rosalynn doesn't look too thrilled. She'd be even less so after 4 years. Jimmy was, and is an exceptional humanitarian, (recently turning 100 years old) but was out of his depth as President, and more recently, should keep his mouth shut. Could America be so stupid as to repeat this administration with a black stand-in? We'll know shortly. Turns out that we were that stupid. We are about to dispose on an administration that actually made Carter look good. Those who do not know their history are condemned to repeat it! Commentary aside, the image is in pristine condition all around with no writing or mailing.
