Description:

The 1974 Alfa Romeo Spider is a 2 liter twin cam, 5 speed, limited slip differential, mechanical SPICA injected roadster representing the last year before Federal smog and subsequent bumper requirements were implemented.

This Spider has had a rejuvenation of the engine, transmission, upholstery, paint and numerous other items. Complete records are available for inspection along with a recent compression test. It runs excellently, and when shown this June at the national Alfa Romeo Owners Club event here in Coronado it clearly was an outstanding example of the model. This car has been in one family (father to son) until my purchase and rehabilitation beginning in 2019. After a sandblasting, it was repainted in the original Bianco color (white). The seats were reupholstered in blue leather, the tires are fresh, the engine and transmission were refreshed, all hoses and belts were redone, complete engine and electrical tuning, battery replacement, fuel pump new, condenser new, radiator cleaned, drive shaft & U-joint and bearing replacement, and all filters were replaced. The SPICA unit and the injectors were rebuilt, tires, fluids and brake pads replaced, etc. Contact me for a full list.

Extras and modifications since new include a roll bar, seat harnesses rather than belts, sound deadening in strategic locations, Cocoa mats, leather upholstery, twin downturn tail pipe, and a full set of 5 extra 14” Turbina rims in addition to the Cromodora wheels now on the car. I have a car cover and extra bits and pieces that will go with the sale including a non-factory hardtop.
