1970’s WALT DISNEY Hardcover Books Lot!! $50.00 Shipped! (These are very Heavy)!
These are all original and in various grades! All pages are complete in every book and these feature all of the classic Disney Characters! All except one are from Disney’s “Wonderful World of Reading” series, popular in the 1970’s and are marked WWOR! Many of these are illustrated by Disney Artists!
From the oldest to the newest:
BAMBI GETS LOST – 1972 – WWOR – VG. Last page is torn and general spine wear due to age. Bambi and Thumper go on an adventure in the woods and get separated from Bambi’s mom!
CINDERELLA – 1974 – WWOR – Looks NM, but staining on the lower back cover, so we’ll call this VF! This tells the classic story of Cinderella in glorious color!
SLEEPING BEAUTY – 1975 – WWOR – GD. The binding is loose, but pages are still secured in the book. General cover wear. This tells the story of Sleeping Beauty!
THE EMPEROR’S NEW CLOTHES – 1975 – WWOR – GD. Staining on the books covers. All pages secure and bright and colorful! The King needs new clothes and his council suggests them…and the populace is surprised at the outcome!
GOOFY MINDS THE HOUSE – 1975 – WWOR – VG/FN. Some general wear and staining on the covers. The pages are clean and bright! Set in Ye Olden Tymes, Goofy does Farmer Mickey Mouse a favor and does his chores in the Farm for a day…and regrets doing that favor!
MYSTERY OF THE MISSING PEANUTS – 1975 – WWOR – VG/FN. Some general wear on the cover. Pages are bright and clean! Donald Duck plays Detective in this fun book an tracks some missing Peanuts to Chip and Dale!
PINOCCHIO AND THE WHALE – 1977 – WWOR - VF/NM! Pinocchio and Jiminy Cricket, along with Gepetto, go on an ocean adventure and meet Monstro the Whale!
DUMBO THE FLYING ELEPHANT – 1978 – WWOR – GD. Pen and pencil writing throughout. All pages are here and complete! This retells the classic Disney Dumbo story, as he learns to fly while in a Circus!
THUMPER’S LITTLE SISTERS – 1986 – FUN TO READ LIBRARY SERIES # 2 – VF/NM! Thumper tells Bambi his parents don’t love him because they are always kissing his three little sisters and runs away into the woods! But all is well by the end of the story!
