Seller's Description
Here's a Petley Studio publishing, card #C983, showing some native Americans and their Hogan abode. A mint state, standard-sized card with no writing, mailing, creases or tears. The reverse tells us:
"The colorful nomadic Navajo Indians are located in extensive reservations in northern Arizona and New Mexico. Famous for their artistic Navajo rugs and silver jewelry, they live in primitive circular hogans and depend on sheep and cattle raising for their livelihood." (Unlike other tribes who depend on government handouts)
