This 1963 Etruscan yearbook was the very first yearbook for Glenbrook South High School in Glenview, Illinois.  In the school’s infancy, they only had two classes:  Freshmen and Sophomores.  I was a freshman from 1962-1963 and was a member of the first graduating class to attend GBS all four years.  There was a graduating class in 1965, but they only attended three years as sophomores, juniors, and seniors.

This yearbook is in excellent condition.  It has writing in it, mostly in the inside front and back covers.  I also snagged a few of the teachers’ signatures by their photos.  Even though this yearbook is close to 60 years old, the text is still tight.  Excellent condition.

Also included is a separate mimeographed paper that explains the history of the yearbook, including how they chose the name for it.  Very fascinating.  I forgot that I had even kept that.

Paperback reprints are currently selling for $79.99 online.  This hard copy is  vintage, actually owned by a person who attended all four years at GBS.
