Seller's Description
Near mint, showing only one tiny corner ding. No messaging or mailing. Card #104069 is a Walter H. Miller photo and publishing. The back tells us:
"St. Francis Xavier Church dates back to 1824. It stands on the site of the first log church built as early as 1732. Within the walls of the first church, Fort Sackville was formally surrendered to George Rogers Clark in 1779. The Old Cathedral Library contains some of the oldest and rarest books in the Midwest."
Today, the church stands in the shadows of the Gateway Arch.
