1960's Republic's F-84F Thunderstreak delta wing jet

This is a Republic Aviation Corp. postcard. I'd like to be able to say the jet is flying under a "cloud" but it is really either a surface blemish or paper attached from something else. I'm tempted to use a little water to remove it but don't want to risk additional damage. Elsewhere, the face shows some surface wear but is without tears and creases. No writing or mailing either.

The back lists this as a "fighter-bomber. Armed with six .50 caliber guns and more than 6,000 pounds of external armament. Carries nuclear weapons. Powered by J-65 turbojet engine with 7,200 pounds of thrust. Speed: over 650 mph. Holds U.S. transcontinental speed record and world's non-stop jet fighter distance record."
