Seller's Description
Published by North Dakota Scenes Publishers, #S-61963, this messaged and mailed card tells us:
"The Marquis De Mores, colorful French nobleman, was a large scale cattle-man of the Medora country during the 'EIGHTIES', built the first packing plant in the state at this point, and was a large contributor to the social and economic welfare of the Badlands section of North Dakota. His home, the historical 'Chateau De Mores' was donated to the State Historical Society and is in present use as a museum. The town of Medora was named in honor of the Marquis."
This clean image, #31, is clean overall, without wear or tears, although the upper border shows a very faint crease line.
