Seller's Description
This is a 4 1/8 by 5 7/8 inch John Hinde Original, and a Don Harmon photo, card #2RM9, printed in Ireland. In near-mint state, though the corners show faint wear and a few surface scratches appear on the right margin. The reverse has the "From The Roof Of The Canadian Rockies" - Ram imprint, and additionally describes the scene as:
"Lake Louise reflecting Mt. Lefroy (11,280 ft.) and Mt. Victoria (11,365 ft.), from the lakeside path. Glaciers and snow add constant glitter to this majestic scene. The lake lies in a high valley above the Trans-Canada Highway and the Canadian Pacific Railway. It was discovered during railway construction about 1883, and the area was added to Banff National Park in 1892, for purposes of protection."
