Remember the days when tunes like "Nola", "Doll Dance", "Dizzy Fingers", and the other nostalgic finger-busters for piano were always played at break-neck speed? Well, here they all are - but what a difference! Jack Fina, who can be as speedy an ivory-tickler as you'd want to hear, has pulled a pleasant switch. Some, like Nola, are slowed down to a provocative, swinging walk. Some are given a Latin touch, some a modern beat, and many are treated to the Fina specialty --- a driving, contemporary boogie woogie.

Here's a 1960 Dot mono recording, shown with the original sleeve. The sleeve shows light wear and a trace of soiling, but with no splits or creases. No inlay. The record shows some playwear and handling (faint scuffs and fingerprints) but nothing too serious. It might pass for near-excellent, but we grade it conservatively at VG+. Both sides play without skips.
