1960 chatty letter to brother Noel, Yacht Maeander, Kavala, Greece

A 6 page letter dated Tuesday, 23/8/1860 signed by Noel, Yacht Maeander, c/o A.M. Krantonellis, POB 15, 77 Venizelos Street, Cavala, Greece.  It is addressed to his brother Ronald.  It is very chatting and describes a lot of the shipping and cargoes in the area.  "The owners engineer (cum chauffeur) and another of his crew, are at the moment fitting a pair of exhaust deflectors on the ships sides, which I designed, and for which I drew out full sized plans... [with diagrams]", "A shop has recently opened here, book shop which I hear includes a lending library and that they cater for English speaking people as well as Greeks, so I'm going to investigate this afternoon...", "Last night I saw the film The Paradine Case,  Rather old, but very good...", "I wonder if Len Buckley has yet managed to locate another BSA air rifle...", "radio...its the one that was on Maeander before the Pye Dolphin was installed", "...could meet my old pals at Poole, which is where I also have to go, to see an old friend named Mike Linaker, who can let me have a supply of black powder.  He is an explosives expert", etc.   Has been folded.
