A rare Lucas Temporary Release Note Spare Parts List, TR120 (5th Sept. '56) for the introduction of the Phase III Standard Vanguard Estate.
Temporary Release Notes were issued mid year to identify electrical specification changes or for new model / variant introductions. The following years' CCE lists would include this information but for the model historians wanting to know about the timing of changes these are a must. They almost invariably got destroyed.
TR120 shows the major unit part number specifications: Control Box, Distributor, Generator, Lighting Units, Starter Motor, wiper motor as well as all the minor parts, switches, junction boxes, overdirive parts, etc.. For the distributor and lighting equipment there is a more or less complete breakdown of the piece parts in addition.
Though 2 sheets / 3 sides of typed information it is effectively 2 and a fraction of Vanguard Estate detail, the lower part of the 3rd side contains notes on changes to other cars (Lagonda, Hillman and Sunbeam). Condition is good.Listing Information
