Seller's Description

1953 The Stamp Finder Pamphlet

Includes a section "How to Collect Postage Stamps."

Good condition. This is complete, everything is still attached, but it has obviously been used a lot and the edges are frayed.

Published in 1953 by The Philatelic Institute, Cambridge 39, Mass.

31 pages, 8½ by 5½ inches.

The first 14 pages contain short articles such as "How to Start a Stamp Collection."

This contains one section titled "A Valuable Guide Which Enables the Collector to Find the Country to Which Any Stamp Belongs."

There is another section containing sample photographs of stamps "which are not inscribed with any recognizable words and therefore cannot be indexed in the preceding word list"
