Seller's Description
As seen in Philadelphia, we're told:
"This house was built by William Penn, A.D. 1682, believed to have been the first brick building erected in Philadelphia. It was the first State House of the Province and was removed to its present location June 20, A.D. 1883."
This is a "Tichnor Quality View", card #61754, distributed by A. Ponnock & Sons. The face is clean with a bit of wear only on the upper-left edge. The back is toned and lightly soiled and never mailed. No tears or creases.
