Seller's Description
This is a striking ceremonial teapot! Fuchsia-colored, cherry blossom design with swirled grey and black highlights. The 1950’s Japanese teapot handle is made of bamboo and the set has a porcelain crackle finish, NOT crazing! No cracks or chips on any of the pieces. The porcelain loop on the backside of the teapot has been repaired and holds firmly. No staining! Invite friends to tea or use the cups for a sip of warmed Saki!
The teapot is 7 inches tall with the handle up - with the handle down, it’s 4 1/2 inches tall. 5 3/4 inches in diameter including the spout. Each cup is 3 inches tall and 2 1/4 inches in diameter.
