"Hotel Ponce De Leon, St. Augustine, Florida (the oldest city in the United States). The first great resort hotel of Florida's East Coast Hotel System, was started by Henry M. Flagler in 1885. Completed in 1888, costing about two and a half million. Its Spanish Moorish buildings and magnificent grounds surrounding them cover about 13 acres of reclaimed land in the heart of the city. Royalty, Presidents and other famous personages have been its guests."
