LITTLE BEAVER #8 – Jan.-Mar. 1953 – Dell Pub. - Fair/Good.
“The Prospector” sees Little Beaver and his Indian Pal’s set up a greedy shopkeeper who tries to defraud a town! Next, L.B. and friends find a Stagecoach Robber’s lair! “The Apache that turned to Stone” is a two page Text story! “The Marriage of White Elk’s Ghost!” sees a Sioux Warrior get a murderer to confess to a murder he never committed! “Indian Hunters” is a story inside the back cover and the back cover itself is a one page story! Trivia Fact: Dell Publishing was named for the Delacore Brothers, George and Albert!
PORKY PIG #42 – Oct. 1955 – Dell Pub. - VG.
“Elephant Disaster” Porky, Bugs, and Cicero are in Africa to capture wild animals and find a herd of tiny elephants!...However, when they bring the herd home, the elephants don't stay tiny! “Victory Through Hair-Power!” Porky buys a jar of hair-grower at a strange little shop and The ointment not only grows hair, but gives Porky super-strength like Samson! “The Floorwalker” is a text story. “Happy Bird-Day!” Sylvester pretends to be a mechanical toy to fool Granny! “Tickle-Pickle” When their car has a flat tire on the way home from a picnic, Porky and Petunia seek help at house where two odd scientists have invented a "tickle-ray"! Next, Porky thinks Petunia is on a diet, so he takes her to lunch, thinking she won't eat much! “Fly and Violin Practice” sees a pesky fly interrupt Cicero's violin practice! 36 pages!
ROY ROGERS AND TRIGGER # 133 – Sept.-Oct. 1959 – Dell – VG.
This classic kicks off with a Photo Cover! “The Tlingit Totem” is 12 pages by Nat Edson as Roy and Dusty are up in Alaska where a small totem and fine wood carvings of the Chief are stolen in the night. With the help of Kasan, they set out trailing the thief! “The Man Without a Gun” is a text story by John Ushler that opens with the line "No one in Grandville ever knew what started the antagonism between Jeff Fowler and Gregory Parks”! “Dale Evans and the Surprise” is by legend Russ Manning, as She and her Ranch Hands uncover Two strangers who are searching the schoolhouse for stolen money! “Herman, the Terrible-Tempered Duck” is a photo of Dale and Roy feeding ducks! “Roy Rogers and the Outcast” is 12 pages by Nat Edson, as Stone Face is sent by the Chief to buy grain, but he loses the money in gambling. He has to redeem himself!
CHEYENNE KID # 56 – June 1966 - Charlton Comics – VG/FN. ALL stories are by Joe Gill, Charles Nicholas and Inks by Jon D'Agostino!
“Big Ear's War” is 8 pages as the Cheyenne Kid takes on a huge painted Indian Warrior who wants to defend his Woman’s honor! “Fighting Fox” is a two page text story! “Governor's Man” is 4 pages as Cheyenne meets the local Politician’s lackey! “Tenderfoot” sees Cheyenne meeting a new Gunman! “Coward's Brand” is 8 pages as Cheyenne is branded a coward…until he uncovers the real coward behind this story!
