Great vintage fiction hardback book from 1950 by Alison Uttley. Contains illustrations throughout by Margaret Tempest. Photo 2 shows wear to the cover spine. Some pages have smudges or light foxing spots. Photo 17 shows a missing page corner on the left page. Binding and other pages inside are in nice condition especially as the book is 75 years old.
