Seller's Description
I am advised this has been renamed Rhodes College. Here is the entrance view in Memphis, TN., as seen in the 1940's. This is image #11 and card #15192 from E.C. Kropp--famous for his detailed printings. Publishing is by Bluff City News Co. Light corner wear and one tiny ding on the upper-right are the only flaws. No messaging or mailing with a description of:
"Southwestern, the College of the Mississippi Valley. This is Memphis' first college of liberal arts. Located on a beautiful wooded campus on North Parkway, opposite Overton Park, the buildings of vari-colored stone are among the finest examples of college architecture in the United States."
