Seller's Description
A letter from the London Midland * Scottish Railway, Chief General Superintendent's Office, Derby dated 12th May 1928. It is headed "summer Staff Wages". "I have arranged for E. Dibble of NCS to take up duty at your station on 20/5/28 to succeed as Coal Porter Gr 2 for summer. Enter his wages, 40/0 per week...". It is addressed to Mr, Riley of Grange over Sands. Has been folded, has spike holes and rusty pin holes.
