Seller's Description
One of the earliest Cameo labels, introduced in 1922 and sold for 50 cents. A high percentage of Cameo recordings have fairly good hot music and a wealth of jazz dance music. Clean on both sides, with a high percentage of remaining gloss. Excellent audio of these two fox trots with no skips, cracks, chips, or serious scratches.
Side V114 presents "Blue Danube Blues", from "Good Morning Dearie", which opened on Broadway November 1, 1921 at the Globe Theatre, and is performed by Hussar's Claridge Hotel Orchestra.
Side V116 offers Jerome Kern's "Ka-Lu-A", from the same Broadway show and performed by the Velvetone Dance Orchestra, directed by Arthur Lange.
