Seller's Description
As seen from Westminster Bridge, card #67 was used as a birthday greeting but not mailed. The barge in the lower left of the picture is the "Winifred". Some soiling spots across the top with creases on both of the upper corners and a moderate, right-to-left diagonal crease through the middle. General edge and corner wear, but no tears. The back reads:
"Scotland Yard is a short street in London, near Trafalgar street. Here formerly were the headquarters of the London police, now removed to New Scotland Yards on the Thames embankment. Westminster bridge crosses the river at the north end of the House of Parliament. It has seven elliptical arches of wrought and cast iron."
