Seller's Description
Unused but not new, as evidenced by some light corner wear and toning. No tears or creases. Image #290-4 and card #53105 is an E.A. Bishop copyright, Racine, Wisconsin. The reverse tells us:
"STARVED ROCK, ILLINOIS STATE PARK. Contains about 1,000 acres, located in La Salle County.
You will be surprised when you visit this historic Park and view the beautiful nature scenes. You will climb the bluffs, and as you pass along the winding wooden Indian paths at this point, you will make some excuse to pause for the privilege of occupying, as it were, a reserved seat for this attractive spectacle of life and beauty, of which this rock, JACOB'S LADDER, upon which you rest, is itself the stage."
