Seller's Description
Located at the corners of Shirley and Revere Streets, shown in the image. I wonder what's there now? This card, #975, was made in Germany for the A.C. Bosselman Co., New York. Messaged and mailed to Mrs. C.L. Webster in York Beach, Maine, the face is extremely clean for its age. Corner wear is apparent all around with a small, but serious break on the upper-left corner. No other creases or tears.
I'm told this is now a small cul-de-sac called Kennedy Drive with elderly housing. The base was called Fort Banks. It was sold to the town in the 50's or 60's with elderly housing built in the 70's and 80's. Fort Banks Elementary School was built there last year. There's also a giant Condo project there, too.
