Original French 47 inch x 63 inch Poster for the 1976 Bernardo Bertolucci Drama 1900 starring Burt Lancaster, Robert De Niro, Donald Sutherland, Gerard Depardieu, Dominique Sanda, Sterling Hayden, Stefania Sandrelli, Francesca Bertini, Werner Bruhns, Romolo Valli and Anna-Maria Gheradi.
The epic tale of a class struggle in twentieth century Italy, as seen through the eyes of two childhood friends on opposing sides.
Poster art by Jean Mascii. Mascii was one of the most prolific French film poster artists of the second half of the 20th century creating over 2,000. He was born in Italy in 1926 his family then settled in France in 1932. He began work designing cinema facades and designed his first film poster for La Dame D'Onze Heures starring Paul Meurisse in 1947. He died in Paris in 2003.
The poster is in very good folded condition.
